Membership
Types
Full Membership:
Those persons holding at least a Master's degree with a major in
one or more of the following areas: Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology,
or Deaf Education.
Associate Membership: Those persons with a major
in one or more of the following areas: Speech-Language Pathology,
Audiology, or Deaf Education, and not qualifying for full membership
status.
Affiliate Membership:
Those persons or students not meeting the requirements for full
or associate members.
Life Membership:
Those persons who have reached the age of 55 or who have been forced
to retire because of health reasons. The person shall also have
been an active memeber in any state speech-language-hearing association
in good standing for the past 15 years who are now active members
of WSHA. They may then become life members upon recommendation of
the executive board. Life members may retain all privileges of their
previous membership status without payment of annual dues for any
years subsequent to the year in which age 55 is attained.
Full members and associate
members shall agree to abide by the code of ethics of the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dues for Membership
Dues shall be received
by January 1 of each calendar year.
Full Membership: $40.00
Associate Membership:
$35.00
Affiliate/Student
Membership: $20.00
Life Membership: No payment
is required.
